Your project data stays in your browser
Junction Box Designer does not require an account. Junction box project data is saved using local browser storage on the device you are using. It is not uploaded to a project database by the app.
Project files
Export creates a JSON file containing your project data. Import reads a file you choose on your device. You control where exported files are stored and who receives them.
Basic usage analytics
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand basic usage such as page visits and general device/browser information. Junction box field values, cable data, terminal assignments and exported project contents are not deliberately sent as analytics events.
Hosting and external services
The site is hosted by Vercel. Fonts are currently loaded from Google Fonts. Those providers may receive ordinary web-request information such as IP address and browser details when resources are requested.
Deleting local data
Use Reset to replace the current project with a blank one. You can also remove site data through your browser settings. Keep an exported backup first if you may need the project again.
This page describes the current free version of Junction Box Designer. It will be updated if accounts, cloud storage, advertising or other data-processing features are added later.
